About Me

Hi there! My name is Christina Orlikowski and I am a full time artist and metalsmith. I've lived in Colorado since 1993 and never get tired of watching the change of seasons and local wildlife. Before that I lived all over the U.S. mostly in the Midwest and on the East Coast. I even spent six months living in Japan! My home is in a small town near Denver where I live with my husband and three dogs. 

Jewelry design has always been a passion and joyful way to work with customers and friends. I am mostly self-taught and am constantly exploring new techniques and materials although my pieces have always had a casual, relaxed look that reflects the Colorado lifestyle. My jewelry looks great with anything from blue jeans, to the office or a night out. 

I Dig It Designs is a one woman shop. From design to fabrication to shipping it's just me! "Work" is just a walk across the driveway to my art studio where all the magic happens. Using sterling silver sheet, saws, hammers, files and fire I create a variety of handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry featuring semi-precious gemstones from all over the world.

I often plan a group of pieces or an entire collection around the seasons or based on a group of gemstones. The stones themselves often help me decide on the design.
